This album does the two most important things for me on a heavy record, it Dooms and it Grooves. Pounding drums, crunchy riffs, and haunting vocals. What else could you want? Riff Zealot

Maybe it's just a matter of suggestion due to the “Appalachian Desert Rock” moniker, but I can really seem to feel the wind from the mountains, the fresh shadows of towering trees, the smell of wood, moss and leaves imbuing the notes of this misty, stonerized, proggy psychedelic beauty. Reminds me of the first Bask album. Solid stuff. muschiosauro
